I am the mighty Vulcan bomber flying high in the sky

I am a vulcan bomber flying high in the sky

I flew in the Falklands war with great pride

as my engines roar the crowds start to sing

as they see this the pride of british engineering

one moment peace then an almighty roar

as roll Royce Olympus engines going into a roar

eyes turn and watch the sky

as I climb  up wards with great pride

I am the legend of the v force still flying today

untill you have seen me you havent been to an air display

as when I run down that run and pull up into the sky

the crowd s roar with great pride

Martin withers once won the vc

as he opened my bomb carriage and dropped bombs on Port Stanley

that night the Argentinians had a great shock

the british had started a fight

they thought we would roll over and let them have their way

no way

the Falkland islands was british and that’s how its going to stay

the pride of british engineering had made its mark that day

group captain Nigel Baldwin and rest of black crews did us proud that day

with record-breaking bombing run which hit world news that day

The vulcan bomber we salute you today

This is tribute to you and your crews

we are all so proud of you.
